Acts 1:8
Our Acts 1:8 outreach was formed to help meet the needs of those in our neighborhood. Each Wednesday evening, The Hope Center team goes into different parts of our community distributing food, clothing, and offering prayer when needed. Through our food and clothing distribution we want to help fill in the gaps where they are lacking. We know that by showing them the love of Christ with our giving that they will reach out to those in need when they are able.
Operation Hope Ministries
Operation HOPE(Helping Others Prepare for Excellence) is a faith-based after school program that provides a safe environment for latch-key kids in a neighborhood where some parents are working two jobs to make ends meet. Each day, Monday-Friday, Operation Hope Ministries seeks to provide a safe place where students can receive homework help, food, and beyond in a faith-based environment, where they learn about a God who loves them and has a plan for their lives.They help run a candy store as lesson in responsibility. But, there is always time to play basketball and hang out with their friends. Operation Hope Ministries has been and will continue to be committed to this cause to Help Others Prepare for Excellence.
Revive Youth Ministry
Revive is held sunday mornings at 1130 for students and young adults, with occasional evening hangouts once a month. Through discipleship, relevant teaching, transparency and Godly relationships — we strive to equip our students and help them along the way as they use their gifts to make a difference in the world around them!
360 Hope
360 is The Hope Center’s warehouse in East Jackson, which serves as a resource distribution site to the community in areas such as food, clothing, household items, and beyond. Throughout the week there are various food distributions both on site and in the community. 360 is also the hub for ACTS 1:8 Street Ministry where 450+ children are fed weekly in the community with sack dinners. We believe 360 will continue to grow and expand its reach within the community with even greater capacity as we seek to B.L.E.S.S. our community and love our Neighbor with the love of Christ.
O.H. Summer Camp
Operation Hope Summer Camp is the sister program of the After School program. Founded in 1995, its an All-Day Summer Camp program during the Summer with 2 and 1/2 meals provided daily, with Christ-centered learning, discipline, sports, clubs, and tons of fun. Sign your child into the program or apply to be a volunteer/paid teacher!
